The Gravy Train was established by Neil Mather in December 2006. It aims to provide the best small club venue in the St. Helens and Warrington area for indie, pop and rock music. It was named after a local 1970s group called Gravy Train that Neil used to follow as a youngster.

Wednesdays & Thursdays:
7pm - midnight (free admission for live music & miscellaneous)
Fridays & Saturdays:
7pm - 11pm (variable door charge for the live music + DJ to 2am)
11pm - 2am (£2 admission - DJ Only)

Neil, a former DJ at the very same premises in the early 1980s when it was a disco club called Gossips, is the managing director. Adam Love is the assistant manager - a position that he previously held at Nexus in St. Helens.
